Membership subscriptions for the 2026/2027 for riding members are from $155 – $205.

Registration for new members
New (first time) members are eligible for a starters pack from NZPCA. Please let our Secretary or Head Coach know this so we can set you up with this.
Uniform
Pony Club uniform is compulsory for all rallies unless an exception is made. Please ensure you have the PC top, a correctly tagged helmet, cream jodhpurs and black or brown jodphur boots.
Rallies
The rally schedule will be sent out by email and on our website once it’s set for the new season.

Before rallies start, everyone is expected to help set up jumps and arenas. Arrive 45 mins before start time to tie your horse up and give them water and hay. Set up time is 30 mins.
Once set up, collect your horse and return to the Clubrooms mounted to join your group. The group that is using the equipment last, is to pack that area away.
Inspections

🐎 We love a well-presented pony! We’ll look at how clean, groomed and well-conditioned your pony/horse is, including their feet/shoes and body condition 🐎
🧹Give your gear some love too! We’ll check that everything is clean, well-fitting and in good condition, including your saddle, leather, stitching and bits🏇
You can earn up to 20 points across the inspections. Points are tallied at the end of the season, with a trophy awarded to the highest-scoring rider in each group 🏆
Having your say – voting rights at our AGM
Adult’s (over 18 yo)& senior members are able to vote at the AGM. A junior rider (U18) is not entitled to vote. Junior rider membership includes membership for one parent/caregiver who is then entitled to vote at the AGM. If additional parents/caregivers would like to vote or their children are senior riders, the adult/caregiver will be required to join as an adult member.
*All subs are requested on registration. The last date for payment for the season is 30 September 2026. Your rallies won’t start counting towards your eligibility for NZPCA competitions until subs are paid (NZPCA rules).
Our club relies on fundraising events throughout the season. All members are required to participate in at least one fundraising event and one working bee each season.
Unmounted members must join as a riding member after 3 free rallies.
