Calling all >25yo riders – here’s a pure Laugh and Learn Experience!
HorseMaster riders may have just bought their first horse, may be an experienced rider with a green horse or may just want to have some coaching with a fun group of like-minded people.
Whatever space they’re in, HM’s love the way the group vibe stretches their skills. It’s very RELAXED. No need for nerves!
Rallies begin in August and rotate through flat work, poles and/or jumping, the occasional fun ride, some obstacle courses, a bit of cross country if you wish, and sometimes groundwork if that’s what you and your horse need.
There will be around 10-12 rallies a year held on weekends and public holidays at the NPC grounds at Pukekura Raceway, New Plymouth. Groups will be small, and membership is limited to 18 people.
Rally dates for Horsemasters until Xmas 2026
The opening rally is scheduled for Sunday 30 August commencing at 10.30am. Be there for set up at 9.45am. When the rally is over and after our horses are watered and sponged, we will get together in the Clubroom for Rider of the Day awards.

Annual subs are from $155 – the season runs from 1 August to 31 July. This gives you all the coached rallies PLUS free access to the NPC grounds – that’s worth $120 per annum on its own.
